NCRF A to Z® Scholarship

 

Nominations open August 1, 2024

Students who have completed an NCRA A to Z® Intro to Steno Machine Shorthand program and are enrolled in a court reporting program are encouraged to apply for consideration of one of 15 $750 scholarship awards.

Students must meet the eligibility requirements listed below and submit an application to qualify for the scholarship.

Scholarship award: $750 each

 

 

Scholarship requirements

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible to apply for the NCRF A to Z® Scholarship, students must meet the criteria below: 

  • Have completed an NCRA A to Z® Intro to Steno Machine Shorthand program;
  • Have received an NCRA A to Z® Certificate of Completion prior to enrollment in a court reporting program;
  • Have attained an exemplary academic record;
  • Have passed one skills test writing 60-160 words per minute at the time of submission.

 

 

How to apply

The following documents are required to be submitted for application:

  • A to Z Scholarship recommendation form
  • A to Z Scholarship speed verification form
  • A copy of the student's most recent transcript
  • A copy of the student's NCRA A to Z Certificate of Completion

 

Students who have previously been awarded an NCRF A to Z scholarship are not eligible to apply.
