Official Court Reporter - Superior Court of California, County of Kern

Under general supervision, stenotypes, reports a verbatim record of courtroom proceedings; and provides general support to the assigned Judge related to the official record. Court Reporters are responsible for reporting verbatim proceedings in civil, criminal, juvenile, and other court proceedings; reading aloud at the direction of the Court, and preparing transcripts of those proceedings as requested in accordance with applicable code sections.
