Court Reporter (Full-Time) - Superior Court of California

Salary: $50.06 - $60.86 Hourly. Hiring Bonus $25,000!*

*New Official Court Reporters are eligible for a $25,000 hiring bonus. If the newly hired reporter has previously worked for the Court, there must be a break in service of at least one year from the separation date to the rehire date to qualify for the bonus. Official Court Reporters must onboard no later than May 19, 2025.

This is a Court wide recruitment. Court reporters may be eligible for Real Time Differential pay as detailed in the Memorandum of Understanding between the Court and United Public Employees (UPE). Non-certified Real Time Court Reporters and Court Reporter Pro Tem who provide Real Time services to the Court will receive a 5% pay differential for each pay period in which Real Time services are provided. Court Reporters who hold a current National Court Reporters Association’s Certified Real Time Reporter (CRR) certification in good standing shall receive a 10% pay differential for providing Real Time services. Must be certified by the State of California as a Certified Shorthand Reporter & must be able to pass a criminal history background check.
