Why do I volunteer with NCRA? I volunteer because it enriches my life. I have met so many wonderful people while volunteering.
Suzanne Trimble, RPR, CRR
I've gained many new skills volunteering. I also feel like I'm a contributing part of this awesome community of stenographic reporters, captioners, and videographers and hope I am making a difference. I would encourage anyone thinking of volunteering to do it. You don't have to be an expert, just willing to learn and put a little time and effort into it. I think you'll like it too.
If you love what you do, sharing in making things better is just a benefit!

Volunteering is inspiring to me. I love seeing people's faces light up when you can help answer a question or give them something to help make their job easier. Don't be afraid to "say" yes to a volunteer gig. You
can make some lifelong friends through the process and you learn so much!
