What is the NCRF Career Launcher program?

Career Launcher is an asynchronous online program that has been developed by the National Court Reporters Foundation Corrinne Clark Professionalism Institute, designed to jump-start the careers of new professionals and to be a valuable training resource on deposition procedures and transcript preparation for schools and agencies alike.

Who is eligible to take this course?

Anyone can participate in this program, whether as a candidate watching the simulated depositions online and preparing transcripts or as a volunteer reviewer or providing valuable online mentorship to new professionals participating in the program.

Are any CEUs awarded for this program?

Yes. We offer a CEU package offering 0.40 CEUs for the completion of all 10 modules. There is also a separate package without the CEU option.

How much does the program cost?

We offer two separate pricing packages for the Career Launcher full program. One option awards no CEUs, and the second option offers 0.40 CEUs.

  • Student members: $100
  • Student non-members: $175

How long will I have to complete the program?
The full program of 10 modules must be completed within 10 months (300 days) from the date of purchase/registration of all 10 modules.
What happens if I don't complete the modules in the time specified by the program requirements?

If you do not complete the full program or modules within the program specified timeframe, you can purchase a 30-day extension for the full bundle at $35.

How do I register for the course?
  1. Visit learningcenter.ncra.org.
  2. Select the "Individual Programs & Certification Education" segment, or go directly to this link https://learningcenter.ncra.org/individual-programs-cert-education.
  3. Log in with your NCRA credentials in the left panel.
  4. Once logged in, select the title "Career Launcher Program" from the list of products and then select the green "register" button.
